1. About X Tables

X Tables provides educational times table practice through interactive learning activities, including the Times Table Treasure game.

The service is designed to help children practise multiplication, improve confidence and make learning more engaging.

X Tables is a learning support tool. It is not a replacement for school teaching, professional tutoring, parental support or formal educational assessment.

X Tables is independent from the statutory Multiplication Tables Check used in English schools. It does not deliver, simulate, replace, administer, or claim official status for that assessment.

2. Parent And Guardian Responsibility

X Tables is a parent-led service. A parent or guardian is responsible for:

• creating and managing the family account;
• creating child profiles;
• deciding which child may play;
• supervising children's use of the service;
• managing rewards, settings and subscriptions;
• keeping account login details secure;
• ensuring that information provided to us is accurate.

Children should not create their own parent accounts or provide personal contact details.

3. Child Profiles

Child profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. A child profile may be used to save learning progress, scores, rewards, certificates and gameplay history.

Parents and guardians should choose appropriate nicknames or display names and should avoid entering unnecessary personal information into child profile fields.

We may suspend or remove a child profile if it appears to be misused, unsafe, unlawful or in breach of these terms.

4. Accounts And Security

You must keep your login details secure. You must not:

• share your parent account password with unauthorised users;
• allow someone else to use your account improperly;
• attempt to access another user's account;
• interfere with account security;
• attempt to bypass parent controls, payment systems or gameplay rules.

You should contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

5. Acceptable Use

You must use X Tables lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive or fraudulent purposes;
• attempt to hack, damage, overload or disrupt the website;
• interfere with scoring, rewards, certificates, subscriptions or security features;
• upload or enter offensive, harmful or inappropriate content;
• copy, scrape or extract the website in a way that harms the service;
• reverse engineer, reproduce or misuse the software, artwork, game design or content;
• use automated tools or bots without permission;
• attempt to gain access to systems, data or accounts without permission.

We may restrict, suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

6. Educational Results

We aim to make times table practice more engaging and effective. However, we do not guarantee:

• a specific educational result;
• a particular school outcome;
• improvement within a set period;
• that the service will be suitable for every child;
• that all answers, scores or progress records will always be error-free.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding whether the service is suitable for their child.

7. Rewards And Certificates

X Tables may include virtual treasure, points, certificates, progress rewards or parent-managed reward settings.

Rewards are intended to motivate learning. Unless clearly stated otherwise, virtual rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Where parents choose to create their own real-world reward arrangements, that arrangement is entirely between the parent and child. X Tables is not responsible for fulfilling parent-created rewards.

We may change reward rules, scoring, missions, stages and certificates as the platform develops.

8. Payments And Subscriptions

Some parts of X Tables may be free. Other parts may require payment or a subscription.

Where paid plans are enabled, the checkout page will show the available plan, price, billing period and payment provider before purchase.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorise the payment provider to take payment according to the plan selected.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation options will be provided through the payment provider or account tools where available.

We may change prices, plans or included features. If a change affects an existing paid plan, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected account holders.

9. Refunds And Cancellation

Refund rights may depend on the payment provider, plan type, consumer law and whether the service has already been used.

Where required by law, your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Availability Of The Service

We aim to keep X Tables available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable or limited because of maintenance, updates, technical faults, hosting issues, security incidents, third-party provider failures, internet or device problems, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may update, modify, pause, withdraw or replace parts of the service as the platform develops.

11. Intellectual Property

The X Tables website, Times Table Treasure game, text, designs, artwork, code, branding, characters, missions, stages, layouts, certificates and original materials belong to ZypherLock LLC or are used with permission.

You may use the service for personal, family and educational practice.

You must not copy, reproduce, sell, licence, publish, distribute, modify or create competing products from our content or software without written permission.

12. User Content And Account Information

If you enter names, nicknames, support messages or other information into the service, you are responsible for making sure that you have the right to provide that information.

You must not enter content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, harmful, abusive or that infringes another person's rights.

We may remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms or creates risk to the service or its users.

13. Third-Party Services And Links

X Tables may link to or use third-party services, such as payment processors, hosting providers, email providers or analytics tools.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

14. Limitation Of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZypherLock LLC is not responsible for:

• indirect or consequential loss;
• loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity;
• loss of data where caused by events outside our reasonable control;
• device, browser or internet issues outside our control;
• parent-created reward arrangements;
• educational outcomes not being achieved;
• unauthorised account use caused by failure to keep login details secure.

Our responsibility for paid services will not exceed the amount paid by you for the affected service during the relevant subscription period, unless the law requires otherwise.

15. Suspension Or Termination

We may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached, payment fails for a paid plan, the account is used unlawfully or fraudulently, the account creates a security risk, we are required to do so by law, or the service is discontinued.

Parents may request account closure by contacting us. When an account is closed, access to saved progress, certificates, rewards or paid features may end.

16. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders, such as by posting a notice on the website or sending an account email.

Continuing to use the service after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms should be governed by the laws that apply to the operator and the user's location.

For UK users, nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
